Too often we underestimate
the power of a touch, a smile,
a kind word, a listening ear,
an honest compliment,
or the smallest act of caring,
all of which have the potential
to turn a life around.

The peace is alive
When I see the joy in the eyes of every person I meet;
when I see people equally treat one another as persons;
When I see people grow in appreciating silence in the middle of our today's chaos;
When I look at the swans swimming in a calm lake;
When I see the leaves of a tree mildly shake by the nice breeze;
When I see a baby in a deep sleep, unaware of the heavy rain outside his home.
When I see a baby's eyes shine with joy when he feels the love of his parents for him and for one another.
When we fight the violence with the power of
truth.
